ta, crepata o scheggiata, ma sostituire il contenitore
prima di riutilizzarla utilizzando solo ricambi originali.
• Questo prodotto non è inteso per essere utilizzato da
persone (inclusi i bambini) con ridotte capacità fi siche,
sensoriali e mentali, o senza esperienza e istruzione.
• Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
• Non lasciare incustodito l’apparecchio durante il fun-
zionamento.
• Non lasciare i bambini vicino alla caff ettiera in funzio-
ne.
• Non toccare le superfi ci calde della caff ettiera: le
superfi ci sono soggette a riscaldarsi, utilizzare manico
e pomolo per maneggiare la caff ettiera.
• Utilizzare la caff ettiera per il fi ne per il quale è stata
progettata.
• Il prodotto deve essere utilizzato solo a uso domestico.
• La presente caff ettiera è destinata a essere utilizzata
esclusivamente solo con acqua e caff è macinato PER
PERCOLATORI/ per CAFFE’ FILTRO, ovvero con caff è
macinato grosso. Il caff è macinato troppo fi nemente
potrebbe intasare il fi ltro e creare una pressione eleva-
ta durante l’utilizzo.
• Non immergere con forza lo stantuff o all’interno del
raccoglitore per evitare la fuoriuscita del caff è.
• Il prodotto non è idoneo all’utilizzo su nessuna fonte
di calore.
• Non utilizzare la caff ettiera in forno o in forno a
microonde.
• In caso di malfunzionamento non utilizzare il prodotto
e contattare il rivenditore o il produttore.
• Scegliete solo parti di ricambio originali Bialetti e con-
formi al modello in uso.
COME PREPARARE IL CAFFÈ
• Collocare la caff ettiera su una superfi cie asciutta, piana
e non scivolosa.
• Tenere il manico (3) saldamente e estrarre l’unità
a stantuff o (1-5-6) verticalmente verso l’alto dalla
caff ettiera (Fig.A).
• Inserire nella caff ettiera il caff è macinato (Fig. B).
• Versare acqua calda (non bollente) nella caff ettiera e
riempire fi no a lasciare almeno 2,5 cm / 1 inch di spa-
zio dal bordo superiore (Fig.C). Mescolare la bevanda
con un cucchiaio di plastica.
• Collocare l’unità a stantuff o (1-5-6) nella caff ettiera
e girare il coperchio (1) in modo che le fessure siano
rivolte dalla parte opposta del beccuccio. Non spingere
l’unità a stantuff o (1-5-6) verso il basso. Lasciare il
caff è in infusione per almeno quattro minuti (Fig.D).
• Tenere il manico della caff ettiera (3) saldamente e con
il solo peso della mano esercitare una leggera pressio-
ne sul pomello (6) per abbassare lo stantuff o (5) ver-
ticalmente dentro la caff ettiera. L’abbassamento dello
stantuff o con la minore pressione possibile consente di
ottenere migliori risultati (Fig.E).
Se il fi ltro viene ostruito o non si riesce ad abbassare
lo stantuff o, rimuovere quest’ultimo dalla caff ettiera,
mescolare la bevanda e immergere nuovamente e
lentamente lo stantuff o.
• Girare il coperchio in modo che le fessure siano rivolte
dalla parte del beccuccio e versare il caff è (Fig.F).
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Pulire l’unità a stantuff o dopo ogni uso.
• Non usare spugne o detergenti abrasivi.
• Per conservare più a lungo le caratteristiche del
prodotto si consiglia il lavaggio a mano dei singoli
componenti.
• Al fi ne di evitare ossidazioni è necessario asciugare
bene tutti i componenti della caff ettiera prima di ripor-
re il prodotto.
SMALTIMENTO
• Il prodotto, alla fi ne della propria vita utile deve essere
smaltito in un centro di raccolta diff erenziata.
• L’adeguata raccolta diff erenziata e il corretto smal-
timento contribuiscono ad evitare possibili eff etti
negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il riciclo
dei materiali di cui è composto il prodotto.
• Per informazioni più dettagliate inerenti i sistemi di
raccolta disponibili, rivolgersi al servizio locale di smal-
timento rifi uti, o al negozio in cui è stato eff ettuato
l’acquisto.
GARANZIA
Il prodotto è garantito per un periodo di 24 mesi dalla data
di acquisto, alle condizioni di funzionamento del presente
foglio di istruzioni.
In caso di richiesta di assistenza, per far valere la garanzia,
è necessario contattare il venditore o Bialetti Industrie Spa
e mostrare la prova di acquisto, o un documento equivalen-
te, che riporti gli estremi di identifi cazione del rivenditore e
della data d’acquisto.
La garanzia non copre:
• I componenti sostituibili (raccoglitore in vetro) se non
per difetti originari;
• Guasti e/o difetti causati da un uso improprio o non
conforme alle istruzioni;
• Guasti e/o difetti causati dall’utilizzo di ricambi NON

• Keep this booklet in a safe place for future reference.
These instructions are an integral part of the product
and, throughout the entire life of the product, must be
kept and be available. The documentation should be
given to the subsequent owners of the product.
• Failure to comply with the instructions may cause the
risk of burn or the coff ee maker burst.
• Before each use, make sure the coff ee maker is not
damaged and is complete with all its parts, that must
be intact and properly positioned, as shown on the
fi gure. In case of doubts, contact the dealer or the
manufacturer.
• Do not use the coff ee maker if scratched, cracked or
splinted, but replace the container only with original
spare parts before using it again.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge.
• Put it in a place out of the reach by children.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while turned
on.
• Do not leave the children in the proximity of the oper-
ating coff ee maker.
• Do not touch the hot surface of the coff ee maker. The
surfaces get hot, therefore use the handle and the
knob to move the coff ee maker.
• Use the coff ee maker for the purpose which it was
designed for.
• The product is intended for household use only.
• The coff ee maker is designed to be used only with
water and ground coff ee and ground coff ee FOR
PERCOLATING FILTERS / for FILTE COFFEE, that is with
coarse ground coff ee. The too fi ne ground coff ee may
clog the fi lter and create a high pressure during use.
• Do not immerse the plunger strongly into the container
to prevent coff ee from coming out.
• The product is not intended to be used on any heating
source.
• Never use the coff ee maker in the oven or in a micro-
wave.
• In case of malfunctioning, do not use the product and
contact the dealer or the manufacturer.
• Only choose original Bialetti spare parts suitable for
the model used.
HOW TO MAKE COFFEE
• Put the coff ee maker on a dry, fl at, and non-slippery
surface.
• Hold the handle (3) tightly and remove the plunger
unit (1-5-6) vertically upwards from the coff ee maker
(Fig. A).
• Insert the ground coff ee into the coff ee maker (Fig. B).
• Pour hot water (non-boiling) into the coff ee maker and
fi ll up to 2.5 cm / 1 inch from the upper edge (Fig. C).
Mix the drink with a plastic spoon.
• Put the plunger unit (1-5-6) into the coff ee maker
and rotate the lid (1) so that the slots are facing the
opposite side of the spout. Do not push the plunger
unit (1-5-6) downwards. Leave coff ee in infusion for at
least four minutes (Fig. D).
• Hold the coff ee maker handle (3) tightly and, with the
weight of your hand, slightly push the knob (6) to low-
er the plunger (5) vertically into the coff ee maker. The
lowering of the plunger at minimum pressure possible
allows to achieve better results (Fig. E).
If the fi lter is clogged or the plunger cannot be low-
ered, remove the latter from the coff ee maker, mix the
drink and immerse the plunger slowly again.
• Rotate the lid so that the slots are facing the spout
side and pour coff ee (Fig. F).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the plunger after each use.
• Do not use any abrasive sponges or detergents.
• To preserve the product features longer, it is advisable
to hand wash the single parts. To avoid oxidation,
always dry well all of coff ee maker parts before storing
the products.
DISPOSAL OF THE APPLIANCE
• At the end of the life of the product, dispose it in a
waste collection centre.
• The adequate waste sorting and the correct disposal
contribute to avoid negative impacts on the environ-
ment and public health and permit recycling of the
materials which the product is made of.
• For more detailed information regarding the available
collection systems, contract the local refuse centre or
the store where the product was purchased.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed for a period of 24 months from
the date of purchase, with the functional conditions as
foreseen in this instruction leafl et.
In case of claim for servicing under warranty, it is required
to contact the dealer or Bialetti Industrie Spa and provide
proof of purchase or an equivalent document showing the
identifi cation data of the dealer or the date of purchase.
Warranty does not cover:
• The replaced components (glass container) for
non-original defects.
• Failures and/or defects caused by an use, which is
improper or not-compliant with the instructions.
• Failures and/or defects arising from the use of
non-COMPATIBLE spare parts.
• Damages caused by impacts, falls, and lime scale
deposits.

DE CONTACT, à savoir avec du café moulu à gros
grains. Le café moulu trop fi n pourrait boucher le fi ltre
et créer une pression élevée durant l’emploi.
• Ne pas plonger le piston en forçant dans le récipient
pour éviter la sortie du café.
• Le produit n’est pas indiqué pour être utilisé sur une
source de chaleur.
• Ne pas utiliser la cafetière dans un four ou dans un
four à micro-ondes.
• En cas de dysfonctionnement, dommage ou s’il
manquent des composants, ne pas utiliser le produit et
contacter le revendeur ou le fabricant.
• Choisir toujours des pièces de rechange originales
Bialetti et conformes au modèle utilisé.
COMMENT PRÉPARER LE CAFÉ
• Positionner la cafetière sur une surface sèche, plate et
antidérapante.
• Saisir le manche (3) et extraire l’unité à piston (1-5-6)
verticalement vers le haut de la cafetière (Fig.A).
• Verser dans la cafetière le café moulu (Fig. B).
• Verser de l’eau chaude (non bouillante) dans la cafe-
tière et remplir en laissant un espace d’au moins 2,5
cm / 1 inch du bord supérieure (Fig.C). Mélanger la
boisson avec une cuillère en plastique.
• Introduire l’unité à piston (1-5-6) dans la cafetière et
tourner le couvercle (1) de façon à ce que les fi ssures
soient dirigées vers la partie opposée au bec. Ne pas
pousser l’unité à piston (1-5-6) vers le bas. Laisser in-
fuser le café pendant au moins quatre minutes (Fig.D).
• Tenir le manche de la cafetière (3) et avec le poids de
la main, exercer une légère pression sur le pommeau
(6) pour faire descendre le piston (5) verticalement
dans la cafetière. La descente du piston avec une
moindre pression possible permet d’obtenir de meil-
leurs résultats (Fig.E).
Si le fi ltre est bouché ou si on n’arrive pas à abaisser le
piston dans la cafetière, retirer ce dernier, mélanger la
boisson et plonger de nouveau et lentement le piston.
• Tourner le couvercle de façon à ce que les fi ssures
soient dirigées vers la partie du bec et verser le café
(Fig.F).
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Nettoyer l’unité à piston après chaque utilisation.
• Ne pas utiliser d’éponges ou de produits abrasifs.
• Pour conserver plus longtemps les caractéristiques du
produit, il est conseillé de laver à la main chacun de
ses composants.
• Afi n d’éviter les oxydation, il faut essuyer correctement
tous les composants de la cafetière avant de ranger le
produit.
ÉLIMINATION DU PRODUIT
• En fi n de vie, le produit doit être éliminé dans un
centre de collecte sélective.
• Un tri et une élimination eff ectués correctement contri-
buent à éviter tout eff et néfaste à l’environnement et
à la santé ; cela permet un recyclage des diff érents
composants du produit.
• Pour plus d’information détaillée relative aux déchets
électriques, veuillez vous rapprocher de la déchèterie
de votre localité ou de l’endroit dans lequel vous l’avez
acheté.
GARANTIE
Le produit est garanti 24 mois à partir de la date d’achat
dans les conditions de fonctionnement décrites dans cette
notice d’instructions.
En cas de demande d’assistance, pour faire valoir la
garantie, il est indispensable de contacter le vendeur ou

• Die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig für die spätere Ein-
sichtnahme aufbewahren. Die vorliegende Bedienungs-
anleitung ist Bestandteil des Produkts und muss über

kanne unversehrt und vollständig ist, und sich alle
Bauteile in der richtigen Stellung, wie in der Abbildung,

• Verwenden Sie die Espressokanne nicht, wenn sie zer-
kratzt ist oder Beschädigungen aufweist, sondern er-
setzen Sie den Behälter, bevor Sie ihn mit Original-Er-
satzteilen wiederverwenden.
• Dieses Produkt ist nicht für den Gebrauch durch Perso-
nen (einschließlich Kindern) mit eingeschränkten kör-
perlichen, sensorischen und geistigen Fähigkeiten oder
ohne entsprechende Erfahrung und Anleitung bestimmt.
• Das Produkt ist außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern
aufzubewahren.
• Während des Betriebs das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt

Sie die Espressokanne bitte nur an Griff und Knauf an.
• Verwenden Sie die Espressokanne ausschließlich zu
ihrem bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch.
• Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch
bestimmt.
• Diese Espressokanne ist nur für den Gebrauch mit
Wasser und gemahlenem Kaff ee FÜR ESPRESSOMA-
SCHINEN/FILTERKAFFEE oder mit grobem gemahlenem
Kaff ee bestimmt. Zu fein gemahlener Kaff ee kann
den Filter verstopfen und beim Gebrauch einen hohen
Druck erzeugen.
• Tauchen Sie den Kolben nicht gewaltsam in den Behäl-
ter ein, um ein Austreten des Kaff ees zu verhindern.
• Das Produkt ist nicht für den Einsatz an einer Wärme-
quelle geeignet.
• Benutzen Sie die Espressokanne weder im Backofen
noch in der Mikrowelle.
• Im Falle einer Fehlfunktion verwenden Sie das Produkt
nicht weiter, sondern wenden sich an Ihren Händler
oder den Hersteller.
• Wählen bzw. verwenden Sie bitte nur Original-Ersatz-
teile von Bialetti, die zum gebrauchten Modell passen.
KAFFEEZUBEREITUNG
• Stellen Sie die Espressokanne auf eine trockene, ebene
und rutschfeste Unterlage.
• Halten Sie den Griff (3) fest und ziehen Sie den Kolben (1-
5-6) senkrecht aus der Espressokanne heraus (Abb. A).
• Geben Sie den gemahlenen Kaff ee in die Kaff eemaschi-
ne (Abb. B).
• Gießen Sie heißes Wasser (nicht kochend) in die
Espressokanne und füllen Sie diese, bis mindestens
2,5 cm unter der Oberkante (Abb. C). Mischen Sie das
Getränk mit einem Plastiklöff el.
• Setzen Sie die Kolbeneinheit (1-5-6) in die Espresso-
kanne und drehen Sie den Deckel (1) so, dass die
Schlitze von der Düse weg zeigen. Die Kolbeneinheit
(1-5-6) nicht nach unten drücken. Lassen Sie den
Kaff ee mindestens vier Minuten ziehen (Abb. D).
• Halten Sie den Griff der Espressokanne (3) fest und
drücken Sie mit nur dem Gewicht Ihrer Hand leicht
auf den Knopf (6), um den Kolben (5) senkrecht in die
Espressokanne zu senken. Das Absenken des Kolbens
mit möglichst geringem Druck führt zu besseren Er-
gebnissen (Abb. E).
Wenn der Filter verstopft ist oder der Kolben nicht
abgesenkt werden kann, nehmen Sie den Kolben aus
der Espressokanne, rühren Sie das Getränk um und
tauchen Sie den Kolben wieder langsam ein.
• Drehen Sie den Deckel so, dass die Schlitze zur Seite
des Auslaufs zeigen und gießen Sie den Kaff ee aus
(Abb. F).
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
• Reinigen Sie die Kolbeneinheit nach jedem Gebrauch.
• Verwenden Sie keine Schwämme oder Scheuermittel.
• Um die Produkteigenschaften über einen längeren
Zeitraum zu erhalten, empfi ehlt es sich, die einzelnen
Komponenten von Hand zu waschen.
• Um eine Oxidation zu vermeiden, ist es notwendig, alle
Komponenten der Espressokanne vor der Lagerung gut
zu trocknen.
ENTSORGUNG
• Am Ende seiner praktischen Lebensdauer muss das
Produkt in einer Sammelstelle für Mülltrennung ent-
sorgt werden.
• Eine angemessene Mülltrennung und eine korrekte
Entsorgung tragen dazu bei, negative Auswirkungen
auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit zu vermeiden, und
unterstützen das Recycling der Stoff e, aus denen sich
das Produkt zusammensetzt.
• Nähere Informationen bezüglich der zur Verfügung
stehenden Sammelsysteme erhalten Sie beim örtlichen
Abfallentsorgungsdienst oder bei dem Geschäft, in dem
sie das Gerät gekauft haben.
GARANTIE
Die Produktgarantie gilt für einen Zeitraum von 2 Jahren ab
Kaufdatum zu den Betriebsbedingungen der beiliegenden
Bedienungsanleitung.
Im Garantiefall wenden Sie sich an den Händler oder an
Bialetti Industrie SpA, um in den Genuss der Garantie zu
kommen. Legen Sie den Kaufbeleg oder einen gleichwerti-
gen Nachweis bei, aus dem der Name des Händlers und das
Kaufdatum hervorgehen.
Die Garantieleistung erstreckt sich nicht auf:
• Ersetzbare Teile (Glasbehälter) mit Ausnahme von
Originalfehlern;
• Störungen bzw. Mängel durch unsachgemäßen Ge-
brauch, der nicht der Bedienungsanleitung entspricht.
• Störungen bzw. Mängel durch die Verwendung nicht
originaler Ersatzteile.
• Schäden durch Stoß, Sturz und Kalkablagerungen.
