Receiver Wiring Adaptor

STEP 1 -- MATCH & CONNECT WIRES
A. Match wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver). The wire colors of your
new receiver may, or may not match the colors of the adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.
B. See pages 2 and 3 for application variations for Red and Yellow wires for specific vehicles.
C. See page 4 for application pin locations for the Blue and Blue/White wires for specific vehicles.
D. Individually tape off any unused wires.
White - Left Front Speaker Positive
Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker Negative
Red - 12 Volts Switched Power (most vehicles - see pages 2 & 3 for exceptions)
Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive
Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive
Yellow - 12 Volts Constant Power (most vehicles - see pages 2 & 3 for exceptions)
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
Orange/White - Illumination
Black - Chassis Ground
NOTE
If your vehicle isn't listed on pages 2 & 3, use the
functions listed here. The function of the Red and
Yellow wires is reversed in some vehicle applications.
In others, the Yellow wire is not used. See the charts
on pages 2 & 3 to verify your vehicle application.
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-On

IMPORTANT
Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items
received. Thoroughly check packing materials. If an item
is missing, please call Crutchfield at 1-888-955-6000.
See page 4 for pin locations and connections to
be made with the Blue and Blue/White wires.
If your vehicle is not listed on page 4, these wires will
not be used.

The Red wire in this wiring adaptor is used as 12V constant power in the vehicles listed below. You will need to connect your receiver's
12V switched power wire to a switched power source in your vehicle. The Yellow wire will not be used and should be taped off. Return
to page 1 for all other connections.
