STEP 1 -- CONNECT WIRES
Connect wires below to the matching
function of each wire on your receiver
(refer to instructions supplied with
receiver).
The wire colors of your new receiver may,
or may not, match the wire colors of the
adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver
wires by function, disregarding color.
If your receiver does not have a Dimmer or
Illumination wire, tape off the Orange wire.
Connect all Black and Black/White wires
together by soldering and taping or by
using a large crimp cap.
Individually tape off any unused wires.
Make final wiring connections following
instructions on the next page.

White - Left Front Speaker Positive
Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker Negative
Red - 12 Volts Switched Power
Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive
Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive
Yellow - 12 Volts Constant Power
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative
Orange - Illumination
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
Black - Chassis Ground
Black - Amplifier Ground
Orange/Black - (not used, tape off)
Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-on
Black/White - Amplifier Ground
Subwoofer Input
Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-on
Black/White - Amplifier Ground
For best results, the White RCA plug should be
connected to the subwoofer preamp output on
the new receiver.

Center Channel Input
(Except for Mustang -
this is also a subwoofer
input for the Mustang)
