— Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance.
— WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instrucƟons.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
— InstallaƟon and service must be performed by a licensed professional.

3 Rinnai Rack Installation
DescripƟon
Rinnai Tankless Rack Systems (TRS) include wall mounted and free standing configuraons. The wall mounted
rack systems are available for 2, 3, or 4 water heaters. Free standing rack systems are available for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6
water heaters.
The TRS can be ordered with Rinnai’s Common Venng System, which consists of the CVent exhaust venng and
PVC intake venng Up to eight tankless units share the same CVent system.
The Rinnai TRS features design details that make installaon straigh orward. Gas and water manifolds are
properly sized, and condensate drainage mechanisms and electronic controls for mulple units are included.
The racks are constructed of powder‐coated aluminum, to stand up to the most demanding commercial
environments, while minimizing weight.
The TRS is designed to be used with Rinnai tankless water heaters only. Do not mount non‐Rinnai water heaters
on the TRS.

• Venng components are packaged together with the pre‐assembled Rack, but not assembled. Assembly of
