1.1Introduction

Thisinstructionmanualcontainsimportantinformationforthesafeoperation

ofequipmentsuppliedbySchaudt.Makesureyoureadandfollowthesafety

instructionsprovided.

Theinstructionmanualshouldalwaysbekeptinthevehicle.Allsafetyinfor-

mationmustbepassedontootherusers.

1.2Operation

TheWA1208boosterincreasesthechargingvoltageavailableinthecara-

vantoupto14.4V,meaningthecaravanbatteryundergoesperfectcharging

whenmoving.Itdoesnothaveanycontrols.

connectorplugonthetowingvehicleisassignedinaccordancewithEN

batteryfromdischargingasaresultofleakagecurrents.

Aslongastheignitiononthetowingvehicleisswitchedon,theboosteris

activeandthecaravanbatteryisthereforecharged.Thisdischargestheto-

wingvehiclebattery.

Thisiswhy,whenthevehicleisstationaryandthecaravanispluggedin,the

ignitionmaynotstayonforalongperiodoftimewithouttheenginerunning.
