Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting
on the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories *)
ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by
repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail
an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new
guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of
purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
For repairs or replacement during the life of the guarantee return the device in its
original packing together with the proof of purchase to your dealer.
Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well cleaning, maintenance
or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are
to be paid!
The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
After the expiry of the guarantee
After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or
repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
The device has been teste according to all relevant CE guidelines,d such as
electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been
constructed in accordance with the latest safty regulations.

Quick start guide
1. Fit the Batteries into the Remote Control according to the diagram in the battery
compartment.
2. Plug your main home aerial into the TV set.
3. Plug your TV into the mains and switch ON using the button on the front panel. If your
TV screen does not light up, press the , button or any number button on the RC to cancel
standby mode.
4. Push the RC button OK and keep it about 2 seconds, until the MENU table will appear
on the screen.
5. Using RC buttons ,
select the line AUTOSEARCH and push RC button <
or >. The table
AUTOSEARCH will appear on the screen.
6. Push RC button . Using RC buttons <

, select the line YES and push RC button
< > or . Your TV will now automatically tune and store your local TV stations. This may take
a few minutes.
When the writing will be finished, the first written programme and table EDIT
will appear in the screen. This function is used to customizing the programmes. How to
use this table, read in the head “Customizing your stored programmes”.
7. If you want to leave the MENU tables, push the RC button OK twice.
8. You can switch the programmes using the RC buttons ,, 0 1 … 9, , , or P+, P- on the
front panel of TV. GB

lesen Sie die nachfolgende Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch. So werden Sie sich mit Ihrem neuen Fernsehgerät
vertraut machen und erfahren, was zu tun ist, damit es dauerhaft und gut funktioniert.
Allgemeine Hinweise
Aufstellung:
Um die beste Bildqualität zu erreichen, setzen Sie das Gerät nicht direkter Sonnenstrahlung und der Nähe
einer Wärmequelle aus. Stellen Sie auf dem Fernsehgerät und in seiner Nähe keine Gegenstände ab, die
magnetische Felder aufweisen, weil die Bildröhre nicht gegen äußere magnetische Felder beständig ist und
das zu schlechterer Farbqualität führen könnte.
Reinigung des Gerätes:
Schalten Sie den Fernseher aus. Zur Reinigung benutzen Sie ein weiches, leicht feuchtes Tuch. Verwenden
sie niemals chemisch aggressive Stoffe, da sie zu Beschädigung des Gehäuses führen können.
Bereitschaftsmodus:
Sie können Ihr Fernsehgerät durch Betätigung der Bereitschaftsmodus - Taste an der Fernbedienung
ausschalten. Um die optimale Bildqualität zu sichern (Entmagnetisierung der Bildröhre), benutzen Sie
regelmäßig die Betriebstaste zum Ein- und Ausschalten.
Ihr Fernsehgerät erfüllt die Sicherheitsanforderungen der Norm EN 60065:1998.
Sicherheitshinweise:
Stellen Sie bitte keine Gegenstände auf dem Gerät ab und lassen Sie mindestens 10 cm freien Raum um
den Fernseher, um eine ausreichende Belüftung zu gewährleisten.
Bei Beschädigung des Netzkabels oder Steckers schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie einen Elektrofachmann kommen.
Stellen ie das Fernsehgerät immer auf eine feste, ebene Unterlage.S
Das Fernsehgerät darf niemals mittels Schrauben befestigt werden.
Verwenden Sie das Fernsehgerät nur in angemessenem Klima (nicht in tropischem Klima) in geschlossenen
Räumen. Nutzung unter anderen Bedingungen ist gefährlich.
Erlauben Sie niemandem, besonders Kindern, zu versuchen, mit verschiedenen Kleingegenständen durch
die Lüftungsöffnungen am Gehäuse in das nnere des Gerätes zu gelangen.I
Der Netzkabel soll so verlegt werden, da seine Beschädigungen durch Treten, Scheuern, Knicken usw.ss
vermieden werden.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und die Stecker der Antennenbuchsen bei Gewitter aus.
Halten Sie das Gerät fern von offenem Feuer, z. B. Flammen oder brennende Kerzen.
Benutzen Sie den Fernseher nie in der Nähe von Wasser, z. B. Badewanne, Waschbecken, Schwimmbecken
oder in jeder anderen feuchten Umgebung.
Setzen Sie das Gerät keinerlei Feuchtigkeit aus, z. B. Regen oder Wasserspritzer.
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Gefässe, z. B. Vasen, auf das Gerät.
Sollte durch das Gehäuse Ihres Fernsehgerätes Flüssigkeit eingedrungen sein, oder Sie haben einen Defekt
festgestellt, oder das Gerät ist ausgefallen, schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose und wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann.
Beim Verlassen des Raumes schalten Sie das Gerät am Geräte-Ausschalter aus.
Batterien ge ren nicht in den Hausmüll. Bitte geben Sie verbrauchte atterien bei zuständigen Sammel-hö B
stellen oder beim Händler ab. Werfen Sie Batterien niemals ins Feuer!
Vorsicht: Legen Sie die Batterien immer richtig gepolt in die Fernbedienung ein, um Explosionen zu vermeiden.
Ungleiche Batterietypen oder neue und gebrauchte Batterien dürfen nicht zusammen verwendet werden.
Bitte, sichern Sie, da Lüftungsöffnungen nicht mit Zeitungen, Tischdecken, Gardinen etc.ss
abgedeckt werden, da ansonsten die Ventilation behindert ist.

AV modes
8. Using RC buttons , select the line PROGRAM. Using RC
buttons
0, 1, …, 9
in the line PROGRAM set the number of
programme in which the TV has to switch automatically.
9. Using RC buttons , select the line SLEEP TIMER. Using RC
buttons < > or , you can set the time after which the television will turn
into the standby mode. The time interval is between 15 and 90 minutes.
If you want to turn off the timer, select the variant OFF.
10. If you want to leave the MENU tables, push the RC button
OK
twice.
Notes:
1. When you turn off your television using the power button, you have to enter the time meanings anew,
if there is no automatic scan of real time from the teletext.
2. If you turned off your television using the power button, you have to enter the fixed time of switching
off/switching on anew.
Push RC button AV one or few times to select the desired modes of external signal sources:
AV1 – selects picture and sound inputs in the SCART1 socket. It is used to
connect VCR, satellite receiver or other equipment.
AV2 – selects picture and sound inputs in the SCART2 socket. It is used to
connect the video, satellite receiver or other equipment.
S-VIDEO - selects the inputs of sound, picture’s sharpness and colour signals in the
SCART2 socket. It is used to connect the video, satellite receiver or other
equipment.
FRONT AV- Is used to select the picture and tone input at the
FRONT AV
connections.
Is used for the connection of video recorder, satellite receiver or another
appliance.
Using teletext
1. Turn on the programme, which broadcasts the information of
teletext.
2. Push RC button TXT and turn on the teletext mode.
3. Using RC buttons 0, 1, …, 9 select the desired page (3 numbers).
Your television will start to search the selected page of teletext.
After a while, you will see your selected page with teletext
information on the screen.
4. If some symbols are reproduced incorrectly in the teletext page,
it can be that wrong group of teletext languages is selected. Push
the RC button I/II
and select the best-suited group:
R/W, R/E, E/W, E/E, GRE.
5. If you want to come back to TV mode, push RC button TV or TXT.
Notes:
1. If there are no teletext in your chosen programme, you will see the note NO TELETEXT when you
switch the TV to the teletext mode.
2. The control of teletext information using other buttons is written in the chapter “Remote control”.
