Ionizer: The ionizer emits into the air a big quantity of negative ions that abound in natural
ambients such as the mountains and near waterfalls or seasides: these negative ions influence
positively the equilibrium of the human body, giving a sense of well being.
Photocatalytic filter and UV lamps: The UV lamps, combined with the photocatalytic action of
the filter remove effectively bad smells in the ambient, kitchen smells and smoke from cigarettes.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully these instructions before using the appliance.
Before using the appliance check that the technical data declared on the plate conform to the voltage
of the electrical supply network.
Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
Do not use it if the supply cable is damaged or if the electrical socket is loose, in order to avoid
electrical shocks, short circuits and fire hazards.
Do not damage the appliance by pulling the appliance by the cable, do not run it around sharp edges,
do not wind it, do not put on it heavy objects, do not put it near hot surfaces, do not put it can hamper,
do not lean it from the edge of a table.
In order to remove the plug, keep the adapter and not the cable. Before extracting the plug, switch off
the appliance. Do not use extension cords.
Do not modify the appliance. If the appliance needs to be repaired or the cable needs to be substituted,
please contact an argo service center.
Before cleaning the appliance or substituting the filters, switch it off and remove the plug.
Do not touch the plug or the air purifier with wet hands.
Do not use the appliance in presence of antimosquito spray.
The appliance is not equipped with a protection against humidity, therefore it should be use only
inside houses and far away from rocks, bath tubs, wash basins or similar places where there could
be presence of humidity.
Do not immerse it into water or other liquids. Do not let it work it near a heater.
Do not use it near flammable gases, such as natural gas or propane.
Do not use it near a flame, near kitchen appliances or heating appliances or a hot surface.
Keep the appliance far away from children and invalids, in order to avoid accidents.
Do not clean the appliance with solvents or petroline. Use only dry clothes. Do not clean UV lamps
with water, use only dry clothes.
Do not insert your fingers and/or objects into air openings. Do not set any objects on it.
After long periods of inactivity, please remove the plug from the socket.
Lamps can be substituted only by qualified personnel.
In order to fix the appliance to the wall, please use only the proper accessories, the use of other
accessories can cause damages to people or things, argoclima will be not responsible of this.
If there are carpets, the appliance must not be used on the floor. The optimum distance from the
floor is 90 cm.
Do not use the appliance with adapters different than those supplied on the appliance.
ATTENTION: Do not fix the UV lamp for more than one instant, your eyes could be damaged!

Fotocatalyst function
A filter coated with Ti02 combined with UV light performs a deodorization of the air removing smells
and sterilization effect reducing the impact of germs and viruses.
Ionizer
The ionizer discharges into air negative ions.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Check that the power switch is off (3).
• Plug the power adapter connector (2) into the supply
inlet (4).
• Insert the power adaptor (1) into the power socket.
• If you choose the high speed, by moving the switch
towards high, the red light on the front off the
appliance will light. At the higher velocity smells will
be removed more easily. It is advisable to select
initially the high speed and select thereafter the low
speed once the smells are removed.
• If you select the low speed by moving the switch
towards the bottom, the green light will switch on.
• In order to switch off the appliance and to interrupt
the action of the photocatalyst, set the switch in the
intermediate position.
