GB QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
THE FIRST TIME THE APPLIANCE IS USED:
• FOLLOW THE “INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS”
• REMOVE THE TRANSIT BOLTS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
• First wash cycle without laundry:
1. Turn on the tap(s).
2. Close the appliance door.
3. Pour a small amount of detergent (about 100 ml) into the detergent dispenser
compartment .
4. Select a short programme (see programme chart).
The pilot lamp lights up to show that the appliance is switched on.
5. Press the “Start” button for about one second.
This initial cycle serves to eliminate any water remaining after your appliance was tested
at the factory.
NORMAL DAILY USE:
1. Turn on the tap(s).
2. Sort the laundry according to fabric type and colour and load the appliance.
3. Close the door.
4. Supply detergent and any additives you intend to use.
5. Select the programme, the temperature and any special functions required.
6. Press the “Start” button for about one second.
IMPORTANT:
During the first 15 minutes of the “Cotton” and “Easy care/Synthetic” programmes (both without
prewash) the door can be opened for adding laundry. This is not possible if “Short/Rapid” is
selected.
