Safety
• This product is extremely bright. Donot look directly into
thelight; doing so could cause eye damage.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• The product should only be connected to an earthed
230 V AC, 50 Hz mains outlet.
• Theproduct must not be used in rooms where explosive
gases or liquids are used or stored.
• Treat theproduct with care and do not subject it to shocks
or impacts.
• Never immerse theproduct in water or other liquid.
• Theproduct must not be covered.
• Never try to open thehousing, repair or modify theproduct in
anyway.
• Never use theproduct if your hands are moist orwet.
• Never use theproduct if it, its mains lead or plug is damaged
in anyway.
• All repairs must be carried out by qualified service
technicians using genuine spareparts.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Ifthemains lead
is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
Installation
• Fasten thefloodlight to afirm, level surface.
• Do not mount thefloodlight where there is arisk of it falling
into water or other liquids.
Warning
• Make sure that thewall has no concealed electrical wiring,
gas or water pipes before drilling/screwing.
• Make sure that thepower supply to thefloodlight is switched
off/isolated.
• Thefloodlight should be connected to apower supply
protected by asafety device such as aresidual current
circuit breaker/residual current device (RCCB/RCD).
TheLED module in thelight fitting must not be replaced
by anyone other than aqualified electrician.
Troubleshootingguide
Thefloodlight
is not activated
by movement in
thedetectionzone.
• Check thesettings on thefloodlight, refer
to thesection .Settings
• Check that thepower socket islive.
Thefloodlight
comes on for no
reason.
• Heat sources, lighting or cars are
activating thesensor.
• Wild animals/birds or pets are activating
thesensor.
• Reflections from swimming pool or
other reflecting surface are activating
thesensor.
Thefloodlight is on
all thetime.
• Something is moving continuously in
thedetectionzone.
• Check thesettings on thefloodlight, refer
to thesection .Settings
Thefloodlight
is on during
daylighthours.
• Check thesettings on thefloodlight, refer
to thesection .Settings
Thedetection zone
is smaller than
normal.
• Is sunlight affecting thefloodlight?
Care and maintenance
Clean thefloodlight by first switching it off and then wiping it
with adrycloth.
If theglass on thefront of thefloodlight is damaged, it must
be replaced before thefloodlight is usedagain. Thefloodlight
must not be used if theglass is damaged or missing.
Responsible disposal
1. Use thewall bracket as
atemplate and mark out
where thescrew holes are to
be drilled.
Information
You do not need to detach
thewall bracket from
thefloodlight; it pivots to
make it easier to mark
out holes for drilling and
screwing in mounting
screws.
2. Use anappropriate type of
screw for thewall material
and attach thebracket to
thewall.
This symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with general householdwaste.
Thisapplies throughout theentire EU. Inorder
to prevent any harm to theenvironment or
health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for
recycling so that thematerial can be disposed
of in aresponsible manner. Whenrecycling theproduct,
take it to your local collection facility or contact theplace of
purchase. Theywill ensure that theproduct is disposed of in
anenvironmentally sound manner.

ThePIR sensor’s detection zone
(max 10 m at 120°) can vary
depending on mounting height and
positioning. Changes in temperature
can affect thePIR sensor’s range.
ThePIR sensor has
a90° adjustment range
(see illustration).
Before positioning thefloodlight,
bear in mind that movement
across thedetection zone will
be detected sooner than any
movement towards or away from
thesensor.
3. Tilt thefloodlight to thedesired
angle and tighten thescrews
fastening thewall bracket to
thefloodlight.
Settings
Adjust thefloodlight to
thedesired angle using thelocking
knob on thebracket.
Duration time [ TIME ]
Thelength of time thelight remains on
can be set from 10 3 sec. to approx. ±
10±3 minutes (adjustable). Adjust
theduration time by turning the [ TIME ]
knob towards + or – respectively.
Note: Every new detected movement
resets theduration time.
Activation light level [ LUX ]
Thesensor has aphotocell which detects various degrees of
light and darkness. Adjust theactivation light level by turning
the [ LUX ] knob between and . Use to adjust thedawn-
to-dusk sensitivity level for turning thelight on all day and the
dusk-to-dawn sensitivity level for turning thelight on at dusk.
Sensitivity [ SENS ]
Control thesensitivity of themotion detector. Increase or
decrease thesensitivity in accordance with themarkings.
PIR sensor
1. Set the [ LUX ] knob to  and allow thePIR sensor to
calibrate for 30 sec. Make sure that the [ TIME ] knob is set
to its minimum setting (-). Thefloodlight will now come on for
5 seconds (this will occur within 1 minute).
2. Aim thesensor towards thedesired detection zone.
3. Have someone move across thedetection zone. Adjust
thePIR sensor’s aim so that it triggers thelight to come on
by theperson moving across thedetection zone.
4. Adjust thelight - on time as desired by setting the [ TIME ]
knob.
5. Setting theLux level for desired light activation:
Turn the [ LUX ] knob from  to ‚ so that thelight is set
to only activate while dark.
To set thelight to come on at dusk: Wait until thelight has
dropped to thedesired level. Then slowly turn the [ LUX ] knob
towards theSun symbol ,whilst having someone slowly walk
across thedetection zone. Keep turning theknob until light
comes on and leave it at that setting.
Note: This procedure may need to be repeated several times
before thecorrect setting is found.
Refit the rubber seal after you have finished adjusting.

Consider thefollowing for thebest results
• Do not point thesensor at thesun.
• To avoid thelight coming on unnecessarily, do not aim
thePIR sensor towards heat sources such as BBQ’s, AC
units, other outdoor lighting, car headlights or sources of
electromagnetic interference such as transformers.
• Do not aim thePIR sensor at reflective surfaces such as
white walls or swimming pools.
