Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technical data. In theevent of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services (see address details on theback).
Safety
• Theproduct must only be connected to anearthed outlet (230 V, 50 Hz) fitted with
anRCD.
• Theproduct may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but only under adult supervision.
• Theproduct must always stand upright.
• Never sit, cover or place foreign objects on theproduct.
• Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before
turning theproduct on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidification.
• Theproduct must stand upright for at least 1 hour before it is used for thefirst
time. Thesame applies if theproduct has been placed on its side, etc. during
amove or when being cleaned.
• Make sure that theair filter is clean and fitted correctly before turning theproduct on.
• Never use theproduct if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged or
does not work properly.
• Never try to dismantle or repair theproduct yourself.
• If theproduct needs to be connected with anextension lead or trailing socket,
make sure that thelead used is suitable for use with theproduct.
• Never plug in or unplug theproduct with wet hands.
• Never insert foreign objects into theopenings in theproduct.
• Unplug theproduct immediately if it emits strange noises, odours or smoke.
• Unplug theproduct immediately if it tips over or if it is splashed with water. Contact
aqualified service technician before using theproduct again.
• Theproduct must not be covered in any way. Make sure that no foreign objects
cover or block theair inlet/outlet. Blockages can lead to fires, electric shocks or
damage to theproduct.
• Unplug theproduct when it is not in use.
