Fill the lter basket inside
the reusable capsule with
your ground coffee.
Max fill is 15 grams
(2½ scoops).
1.
Remove the capsule
chamber from the brew
head and insert reusable
lter cup.
2.
Follow “TO BREW
SINGLE SERVE”
directions on page 10 of
the instruction booklet.
3.
After brewing, replace
the capsule holder,
ensuring arrow on
capsule rim aligns with
arrow on brewing
chamber. Gently push
down to snap into place.

SETUP
Fully immerse and
soak the 2 charcoal water
lters in cold tap water for
15 minutes (see instruction
booklet, page 8). Remove
water lter holders from
both 10-Cup Coffeemaker
and Single-Serve reservoirs.

Slide lter holders
back into channels
in reservoirs.
3.
Press down and
pull forward on lter
compartments to open,
and place lters in holders.
Snap to close, run under
water for 10 seconds and
drain completely.
Lift off and ll 40-ounce
water reservoir, replace
on unit.

If not already done, press
power switch on side of
unit to the ON position.
Brew buttons (6, 8 and 10
oz.) will illuminate.
2.
Place mug on tray,
open the brew head and
insert capsule.
3.
Press desired brew button:
6, 8, or 10 ounces.
Your beverage will start
to brew momentarily.
4.
When beverage has
nished dispensing, all
lights will illuminate.
Lift brew head to dispose
of capsule.

SINGLE SERVE: BREWINGBEFORE FIRST USE
Fill water reservoir to
desired level (water level
indicator on side of unit).
If not already done, press
power switch on side of
unit to the ON position.
BREW button will
illuminate.
1.
Insert #4 lter or
permanent lter into lter
basket and add 1 level
scoop of ground coffee per
cup. Do not exceed 15
tablespoons.
Press BOLD button if you
prefer bolder taste.
2.
Turn Function knob
to BREW, press BREW, or
set the AUTO ON function.
Five beeps will sound
when brew cycle is
nished.
3.
Before using your Cuisinart® Thermal Coffee Center™ for the rst time:
10-Cup Coffeemaker: Follow steps 1–3 using only water to
thoroughly rinse the coffeemaker.
Single-Serve Coffeemaker: Follow steps 1–4 without a capsule to
thoroughly rinse the coffeemaker.
Your unit is now ready to use.
