2. Connecting theEfergy Engage Hubsolo
Connect themains adaptor to theEfergy Engage Hub solo and
anavailable power point. Connect theincluded network cable
between theEfergy Engage Hub solo and anavailable port on
your Internet connected router.
There are three indicator lamps on theEfergy Engage Hub solo.
Thered indicator lamp lights first and shines asolid red,
indicating that theEfergy Engage Hub is connected to
themains and is functioning properly. Themiddle yellow
indicator lamp lights next and indicates that theEfergy Engage
Hub solo is scanning for atransmitter within range. Thegreen
indicator lamp shows that theEfergy Engage Hub solo has
afunctioning Internet connection.
Within thespan of aminute or two, both theyellow and green
indicator lamps will light for afew seconds and then turn off.
Theycan either be lit simultaneously or separately. Afterboth
theyellow and green indicator lamps have been lit for afew
seconds theEfergy Engage Hub solo will be ready for registration.
If your router is unable to identify theEfergy Engage Hub solo, then
you will most likely have to reset your router. Pressyour router’s
[ RESET ] button. Somerouters may require asharp pointy
object such as abent paper clip in order to access this button.
3. Connecting to Efergys online service
Follow theinstructions on thescreen.
In order to register your Efergy Engage Hub solo you will need
theMAC address of your Efergy Engage Hub solo, which
can be found at thebottom of thedevice. Youcan simplify
theregistration process further, either by using alaptop to
enable yourself to be closer to thetransmitter during registration
or by having someone assist you.
4. Linking theEfergy Engage Hub solo to thetransmitter
Complete theinstallation when you are prompted by clicking
the button on thewebsite and thephysical Pair My Device
[ Link ] button on thetransmitter itself. Bothbuttons must be
pressed within 30seconds. Itmay occur that thetransmitter’s
button needs to be pressed several times during this process.
Donot keep thebutton depressed, but rather push thebutton
quickly and release it.
5. Downloading theEfergy engage app from
theAppStore or Google play to your smartphone
The app will allow you to have aportable and practical way to
see your energy consumption online.
• Withacomputer you can always log in at
http://engage.efergy.com/
• Using your smartphone after having installed
the“Efergy engage” app.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.

Installation
The mains adaptor must be set to either UK or European
electrical standards before operation.
1. Checkyour existing energy meter
The Efergy Engage Hub solo must be linked to anEfergy
transmitter and to thesensor/s you have installed previously
alongside your energy meter. Checktheenergy meter to ensure
that all its connected devices are functioning.
Open theweb address, http://engage.efergy.com in your web
browser. Followthestep-by-step instructions in the“Sign up
now” dialogue box. Enteravalid e-mail address, apassword
and your password confirmation. Thenclick the button Submit
to connect.
