PREPARATION
Battery installation
1. Remove the battery cover at the back
of the monitor.
2. Insert 4 AA batteries with polarities
in the correct direction.
3. Slide the battery cover closed so that
it locks securely into place.
Note: Replace batteries when the battery
indicator “ ” shows low voltage.

• Blood pressure readings may change during a pregnancy. Pregnant women should
consult their doctor before making measurements.
• Blood pressure measurement is not suitable for individuals with serious arteriosclerosis.
• Babies, young children or individuals who cannot express their consent are not suitable
for making blood pressure measurements.
• Correct handling of batteries:
- As soon as the old batteries are done, replace with new batteries.
- Do not use old and new batteries together.
- Align the polarities of batteries correctly.
- If the unit is not going to be used for more than 3 months, remove the batteries.
Otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage to the unit.

QUICK START GUIDE
Avoid smoking, eating or exercising for 30 minutes
before making a measurement.
1. Sit upright in a chair with your both feet on the oor.
2. Remove tight tting or thick clothing from you
upper arm.
3. Pull on the end of the cu until it wraps securely
around your upper arm. Place your arm on a table
so that your wrist is at the same level as your heart.
4. Press the “POWER” button. Then press the ”START” button.
The cu will automatically inate and the
measurement will start.
5. When the measurement is complete, the cu will
automatically deate and your systolic and diastolic
pressure values and pulse rate will be displayed.

DATE and TIME SETTINGS
- Set the correct date and time before making a measurement.
- Date and time should be reset after replacing batteries.
1. Press and hold the “TIME” button for a few seconds until the “Year” digit ashes.
2. Press the“memo s” or “paget” buttons to select the current year.
3. Press the “TIME” button to conrm the year setting.
4. Follow the same steps to set the month, day, hour and minute.
