3.UsageinAccordancewithRequirements

Atdarkness,thesolarunderwaterbeamer/spotlightisautomaticallyswitchedon

andswitchedoutatsunrise.Themaximumdurationofilluminationwithfull

(rechargeable)batteryandwithoutrechargeisapprox.8hours.Thesolar

moduleinstalledintheupperpartofthehousingchargestheinstalledrechar-

geablebatteries.Thelightingisswitchedonandoffviaaswitch.Thethree

underwaterspotlightsaresuitablefortheoutdoorandunder-wateruse.The

spotlightsmaybesunkinthegardenpond,awellorsimilar.Thisisdoneby

meansofaplateholderwhichisfilledwithstones.Thesolarmodulemaybe

mountedonapolewhichisstuckintothegroundorscrewedtoawall.Thepro-

ductisdesignedfortheuseinprivatehouseholds.

Note:PleasemakesurethatthesolarmoduleispreferablydirectedtotheSouth

andthatshadowsareavoided.WhendirectingthemoduletotheNorthitisnot

possibletousetheproduct.Thesolarmoduleshallalwaysbefreeofsnowin

thewinter.

4.Initiation

1.Pleasecarefullytakeallpartsoutofthepackageandunwraptheaccesso-

ries.

2.ThethreeLED-lightringsmaybeinserted

ontheplateholders.Thisplatemaythenbe

filledwithstones.Theirweightwillensurea

betterfixinginthepond.

3.Nowchooseanappropriatesitefortheassemblyofthesolarmodule

withinthereachofthespotlight.Pleasenotethatthesiteshallbedirec-

tedtothesouthandthatnoshadowfallsonthesolarmodule.By

meansofanassemblyplate,thespotlightmaybescrewedtoawallor

floor,or,viaanearthpole,insertedintotheground.Thespotlightmay

alsobeinstalledonapost.Thisisdonebymeansofapolebracket.Via

theball-and-socketjoint,itispossibletodirectthespotlighttothesun.

4.Now,connectthe3plugs(4)ofthe

spotlightwiththesocketsonthebacksi-

defromthesolarmodule.

Note:Thosearehumidity-protected

plugs.Puttheplugstogethercomplete-

ly.

5.Nowsettheswitch(5)onthebackside

ofthesolarmoduletotheposition“ON”.

Thesolarspotlightsarenowactivated.

Note:Duringthewintermonthsthedurationofilluminationwillgenerally

beshorter.Ifthelampshouldnotshineonthefirstevening,pleasewaitfor

asunnyday.

5.ExchangeofAccumulators
