Beforeyourinitialstart-up,pleasemakesurethattherearenotransportdamages.

Shouldtherebeany,donottakethedeviceintooperationandimmediatelyconsultyour

dealer.

•Operatethedeviceonlyafterhavingfamiliarizedwithitsfunctions.Donotpermitoperationby

personsnotqualifiedforoperatingthedevice.

•Protectthedeviceagainsthumidityandheat.Keepawayfromheatersandotherheatingsources!

•Werecommendafrequentcleaningofthedevice.Disconnectfrommainsfirst.Useasoftlint-freeand

moistenedcloth.Neverusealcoholorsolvents!

•Therearenoserviceablepartsinsidethedevice.Maintenanceandserviceoperationsareonlytobe

carriedoutbyauthorizeddealers.

•Damage,causedbymanualmodificationsonthedevicearenotsubjecttowarranty.Ifthedeviceis

usedforotherpurposesthanoriginallyintendedorifitisnotcorrectlyconnected,theproductmay

red=audiosignalright

white=audiosignalleft

ConnecttheAVoutputsofthesourcedevices(e.g.

DVDplayer,VCR,AVreceiver)totheAVjacksofthe

AVswitch.

ConnecttheoutputsoftheAVswitchtotheinputof

yourTVset,VCRorhi-fisystem.

Switchoffthedevicestobeconnectedbefore

connectingthemtothejacks.Donotturnthemon

againuntilyouhavemadeallnecessaryconnections.

Connectthesuppliedpowerunittothe12VDCINjack.

Plugthepowerunitintoyouroutlet.Assoonasthe

deviceissuppliedwithpower,thePOWERindicator

lightsup.

SwitchyourTV-setsorrecordingunitstotheAV

programslot(seetheoperatinginstructionsofthe

respectiveunits).Therecordingfunctionmustbe

startedonanyrecordingdevicesaswell.

StartplaybackontheAVsourceunit.

TheMANUAL/AUTOswitchenablesyoutotogglebetweenautomaticandmanualswitchingofthe

channelswhicharethenassignedtotheoutputsoftheAVswitch.WhensettoMANUAL,the

channelsareselectablethroughtheCHANNELSELECTswitch.WhensettoAUTO,theswitching

timecanbeadjustedfrom1to25secondswiththecontrol1-25SEC.
