• 4-pin USB 2.0 extension lead with built-in amplifier.
• Type A to A (male to female).
• Length: 5 metres
Installation
• Connect the extension cord to a vacant USB port, the driver is already in
the operating system (valid for Windows 8 (32-bit/64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit/64-bit),
Vista (32-bit/64-bit) and XP).
• The extension cord should ideally be connected to a USB port on the
motherboard, but if only one lead is being used, it may be connected to
anexternal/internal USB hub.
• For serial connections, where several extension leads are connected together,
amotherboard USB connection must be used.
Note
• Serial connections reduce the data transfer rate for every added extension lead
respectively.
• The extension lead is of type USB 2.0 and is capable of high data transfer rates.
However your motherboard must support the USB 2.0 protocol or the transfer
rate will occur at the lower USB 1.1 transfer rate.
