2.1Safety instructions

Only mount the product on components that are in a condition to be safely

operated.

2.2

Intended use

The switch lug triggers the switching function of an inductive proximity sensor or

an optical proximity sensor to query the slide position of an ELGD axis.

2.3Training of qualified personnel

Work on the product may only be carried out by qualified personnel who can eval-

uate the work and detect dangers. Personnel must have the relevant mechanical

training.

Mounting

5.1

Mounting position

•Select the mounting position on the axis. The proximity switch, the sensor

bracket and the switch lug can be mounted on both sides of the axis.

5.2

Mounting inductive proximity sensor

•Mount the proximity switch [6] on the axis Applicable documents.è

Tightening torque: 1.2 Nm ± 20%
