The serial number is identical with the num-
ber embossed in the frame of your car radio.
The Identity Card facilitates criminal investi-
gation by the police in case of theft and
speeds settlement of an insurance claim by
providing evidence of ownership.

Removing the control unit
You can remove the control unit from the
radio to make the radio worthless for other
persons.
If you remove the control unit when the radio
is switched on, the radio will be switched off.
