Thank you for purchasing this Merlin Product. Please read the instruction
manual carefully before using the product.
The documentation provided will allow you to fully enjoy all the features
this unit has to offer.
Please save this manual for future reference.
Instructions:
Installation:
1) Remove existing doorbell.
2) Position Wireless Doorbell Camera at eye level and mark
holes accordingly.
3) Insert plastic anchors in the holes, and use the installation
screws to secure Mounting Bracket.
4) Connect the wires to doorbell as shown in Wiring Diagram,
12VAC-24 VAC.
5) Fix Wireless Doorbell Camera in the Mounting Bracket, top
end first.
6) Screw in small Locking Screw just enough to engage at
bottom of doorbell, when fitted, tighten Locking Screw fully.
7) There is also an AC/DC Adaptor as an option. See Power
Supply images.

Configuring Doorbell:
1) Press and hold the RF Bell Volume button.
2) Simultaneously Press the Doorbell Call button 3-4 times.
3) Doorbell will pair with the indoor chime.
4) Press the “Call” button to test.
Note: One Wireless Doorbell can connect to 4 indoor chimes or
vice-versa. For example, you can have different indoor chimes
for each door, Gate House, Front door, Kitchen door all
connected to the same doorbell.
Connecting Camera to Network:
1) Install and run the “Merlin Doorbell” app on your smartphone.
2) When running App for first time, make sure to click Accept
regarding Push Notifications in order to receive calls.
3) Once power is applied, wait till you hear “Welcome to Smart
Home”. Booting is now complete and doorbell is network ready.
4) Press and hold the “call” button until you hear “Network
Configuration Mode, please Complete Setup in 5 Minutes? Now
the doorbell is in Wi-Fi mode.
5) Go to your smartphone’s settings and connect to “Merlin
Doorbell” using default password “123456789”.
6) Open the “Merlin Doorbell” App and add your camera.
7) Once your camera is added, go to the camera’s settings by
clicking on the “Gear” icon.
8) In the settings menu, go to “Wi-Fi Settings” and connect the
camera to your home router.
9) Once connected, the doorbell will automatically restart. To
manually restart your doorbell, go to the “Camera Settings” and
“System Settings” and click on “Restart the Doorbell”.
10) Now your camera is connected to your home router and you
can access the camera from anywhere in the world.
11) To see live video from the camera, click on the camera icon in
the app.
Note: You also have a Motion Detection Sensor that you can turn
OFF/ON and set the sensitivity levels. Mute/Unmute, Record
Videos, Take Snapshots and receive Push Notifications are all in
your settings
MAINTENANCE
1) Install the camera securely on vertical surfaces (solid
walls/doorframes) that are not prone to vibration or impact.
2) Install the camera away from heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, etc.
3) Avoid installing the camera near devices that emit strong
radiation and/or magnetic field.
4) Avoid installing the camera at places where it might be
exposed to strong light or sunshine.
5) Install the camera at least 30 cm away from AC power supply
to avoid external interference.
FAQ
The device is not powering up.
Check if you've wired the camera properly, and ensure that the
adapter is switched on.
How do I change the camera’s default password?
The default admin password is blank. Access the camera’s
settings by clicking on the “Gear” icon, and enter white list settings
to change admin passwords.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Merlin Products are covered by a limited one-year warranty
policy. If the product suffers from a manufacturing defect, the
customer will receive a replacement if claimed within 15 days
of the purchase date. Otherwise, the product will be inspected
for possible repair options. The product will either be repaired
and returned free of charge, or replaced. All repair services
past the one-year warranty period will be charged for any
repairs that need to be made.
If the client is located outside the UAE, or is otherwise unable
to personally deliver the defective product to our service
center or retail outlets, he/she may send it via post at his/her
own cost. The repaired/replaced product will then be returned
to the client via courier mail at Merlin’s cost, as long as the
warranty period is still active.
Important: This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER normal
wear and tear, accidents, damage during transit, misuse,
abuse or neglect. Attempting to disassemble the unit will
render the warranty null and void.
