Firmware Upgrade Instructions
1.
Plug the NP127 into a wall socket.
2.
Connect the supplied Ethernet Cable to an available Ethernet port on your PC and then connect the other end of the cable
to the Ethernet port on the NP127.
3.
Turn on the power for the wall socket. The NP127 boots up.
Note: Do not perform the firmware upgrade via WiFi. Upgrading the firmware via WiFi can corrupt the firmware causing the
unit to become unusable.
4.
Download the firmware upgrade file from the product page: http://www.netcommwireless.com/product/wifi/np127.
Unpack the archive to a folder on your hard drive.
5.
Setup the unit as described in the Quick Start Guide and power it on. Allow 60 – 90 seconds for the NP127 to power up.
6.
On your computer, open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) and type http://my.extender in the address bar,
then press Enter.
7.
Enter the password to log in to the NP127.The default password is
admin.
Press Login.
8.
Navigate to System>Firmware Upgrade
