ACTIVATION
Press and release any button. The display comes
full on displaying all segments then a countdown
sequence, then the Surface Main screen.
MAINTENANCE
(refer to the Reference section of the Operating Manual)
•
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after activities
in salt water.
•
Annually >> take the VEO 3.0 to an Authorized
Oceanic Dealer for inspection.
•
Replace the Battery prior to dive trips and
vacations when multiples days of diving
are planned.

Max Operating Depth = 400 FT (120 M)
Depth Accuracy - +/- 1% full scale
•
Time Accuracy - +/- 1 second per day
•
Dive Mode - entered at 5 FT (1.5 M) for 5 seconds.
•
Post dive Surface Mode after 10 minutes on
surface following ascent to 2 FT (0.6 M) for
1 second.
•
Repetitive Dive - NORM (or GAUG) after 10 minute
post dive SI, FREE after 1 minute post dive SI.
•
Altitude Adjustments (of Ni-O2 calculations &
depth calibration) - begin at 3,001 feet (916
meters) elevation, continues up to max operating
elevation of 14,000 feet (4,270 meters).
•
Operating Temperature (in air) - 20 to 140 F
(- 6 to 60 C)
•
Operating Temperature (in water) - 28 to 95 F
(- 2 to 35 C)

OCEANLOG PC INTERFACE
(refer to Reference section of the Operating Manual
and the Help section of the OceanLog program)

Dive data (i.e.; Max Depth, EDT, Gas, status)
can be downloaded from
VEO 3.0 memory*.
•
Settings (i.e.; Alarm, Utility, Time, Free
Mode) can be uploaded to the VEO 3.0,
veried, or downloaded from it.
•
VEO 3.0 rmware (operating system) can be
upgraded utilizing OceanLog.
•
Install OceanLog program and USB
driver, both on setup CD. Autoplay,
follow on screen instructions.
•
Create Personal Log le.

Less frequent data sampling rate (a VEO
3.0 Utility setting), allows more dives

A 60 second sampling rate can retain
aproximately 100 dive hours of data, 30
sec approx. 50 hr, 15 sec approx. 25 hr, 2
sec approx. 4 hr, and 1 sec approx. 2 hr
of data.
