Enabling the BB-3000/3100
Power that enables the BB- /3100 to work is supplied by your host 3000
terminal. To make your host terminal supply power to the BB- /3100, you 3000
need only a dedicated - cable instead of a power adaptor. Thus, simply RS 232
follow two steps made below to power on the BB- /3100. 3000
1. 3000 Connect the RS-232 COM port of the BB- /3100 to a specied COM
port of your host terminal through a dedicated - cable. RS 232
2. By using your dedicated application, select the specied COM port and a
baud rate.
3. Enable the COM port you selected.
Jumper Setting for a Baud Rate
To set a baud rate, please adjust the dip switch on the main board of the device.
Refer to the following steps to locate the dip switch on the main board.
1. Loosen and remove the two screws from the
top cover of BB-3000 1 . /3 00
2. Remove the top cover.
3. You can easily nd the dip switch on the
main board.
