WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and
should not be used for any other purpose or in any other
application, such as for nonͲdomestic use or in a commercial
environment.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to
the supply mains.
The plug must be removed from the socketͲoutlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water.
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
The iron must only be used with the stand provided.
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
which the stand is placed is stable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

xBurns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam.
xDo not operate another high wattage appliance from the same plug socket this will avoid a circuit
overload.
x Do not connect the appliance to a mains socket intended for a shaver.

yourself when ironing in a vertical direction, risk of serious scalding / burns.
x Only open the steam tank safety cap when the appliance has been disconnected from the mains
supply and has cooled completely as there may still be steam in the tank. Never open the safety cap
when the product is in use as there is a risk of scalding from high pressure steam.
xWhen refilling the pressure tank only use distilled / clean water. Do not fill the water tank with
vinegar, fabric softener, descaler, additives, perfumes or other chemical agents.
