IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

20. It is recommended that the Power Cord be disconnected from the
wall outlet when not in use.

IMPORTANT – HIGH ALTITUDE LOCATIONS
Water boils at lower temperatures at high altitudes. For every 152
meters (500 feet) above sea level, the boiling point of water will be
0.5°C (1°F) lower than the boiling point of 100°C (212°F) at sea level.
This Kettle has been calibrated to automatically shut-o when water
boils for approximately 30 – 40 seconds, regardless of the requested
temperature.
The temperature settings below the boil temperature of 100°C (212°F)
will not be aected by high altitude.
GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug
(2 blades and 1 pin). If the plug does not t fully into the electrical
outlet contact a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way
or use an adaptor.
