UTM-86

The Senal UTM-86 lavalier microphone delivers realistic and robust broadcast-quality sound for TV,

ﬁlm, stage, or any application where an inconspicuous lavalier microphone is needed.

The UTM-86 features a wide frequency response tailored for rich low frequencies and natural-sounding

mid range that’s ideal for capturing all kinds of speech and dialog. An omnidirectional polar pattern

provides minimal sensitivity to head movement and offers numerous options for positioning the

microphone on clothing or wardrobe. A windscreen and a variety of mounting options are included to

accommodate a wide range of miking scenarios for public speaking, interviews, video, and ﬁlm.

The UTM-86 is designed to connect to a wireless body pack, and it comes conﬁgured with connectors

for many of the most popular wireless systems. It can also be combined with Senal’s PS-48B Power

Supply (available separately) so it can operate on phantom or battery power, which provides

compatibility with any XLR microphone input.
