This entry level IP KVM Switch (SV1107IPEXT) provides a convenient server remote control solution

by enabling simple management of remote servers from anywhere in the world over a local network or

the Internet.

The SV1107IPEXT IP KVM Switch allows BIOS level control of a target computer or server, or servers

and computers connected to a KVM switch over a TCP/IP network - providing network administrators with

the control needed to reset and reboot computers, or monitor the entire boot process from an

oﬀ-site/remote location.

The SV1107IPEXT not only oﬀers the ability to transfer ﬁles to servers and computers connected through

IP, but also the ability to upload ﬁles to a Virtual Media USB 2.0 port. The Virtual Media port acts

as a virtual USB port, allowing ﬁles and data to be accessed as if it originated from a local USB

port - simplifying software or operating system updates and installs by allowing them to be

performed via an Internet connection. This is a perfect solution for driver updates, system patches,

and complete remote application and operating system installations.

StarTech.com’s External Server Remote Control unit can be controlled from any web browser, eliminating

the need for proprietary client access software and in turn saving thousands of dollars in per

user licensing fees.

The SV1107IPEXT IP KVM Switch is compatible with most existing KVM switches, providing full cross-platform

and multiple operating system support, as well as 128bit SSL encryption, to ensure maximum security

and protection.
