Das Prinzip
Die optionale Fernbedienung zum Presence Control PRO erleichtert die Installation von größeren
Beleuchtungsanlagen, da nicht mehr jeder Präsenzmelder vor der Installation eingestellt werden muss.
Es können mit der Fernbedienung beliebig viele Presence Control Melder gesteuert werden. Jeder gültige
Tastendruck wird durch Blinken der blauen LED am Sensor angezeigt.
Funktionen
Reichweiteneinstellung (nur HF 360 und Dual HF)
Durch Tastendruck kann die Reichweiteneinstellung von min 1 m, 1/3, 2/3 bis max. 8 m vorge-
nommen werden.
Zeiteinstellung CH 1 - Nachlaufzeit Schaltkontakt 1
Die gewünschte Leuchtdauer nach letzter Bewegungserfassung kann durch Drücken der Tasten
auf 30 sek., 2 min., 5 min., 15 min. bis 30 min. eingestellt werden.
Einstellen der Leuchtdauer auf eine individuell gewünschte Zeit. Jeder Tastendruck erhöht die
gewünschte Zeiteinstellung um jeweils 1 Minute.
IQ-Modus. Nachlaufzeit passt sich dynamisch, selbstlernend dem Benutzerverhalten an.
Über einen Lernalgorithmus wird die optimale Zeit ermittelt. Die kürzeste Zeit beträgt 2 min,
die längste Zeit 20 min.
Testbetrieb. Der Testbetrieb dient zur Prüfung der Funktionalität, sowie des
Erfassungsbereiches. Unabhängig von Helligkeit und Bewegung schaltet der Präsenzmelder für
ca. 8 Sek. ein. Der Testbetrieb hat Vorrang vor allen anderen Einstellungen. Im Normalbetrieb
gelten alle individuell eingestellten Poti-Werte. Nach 10 min. wird der Testbetrieb automatisch
verlassen.
Zeiteinstellung CH 2 - Nachlaufzeit Schaltkontakt 2 (HLK)
Die gewünschte Leuchtdauer/Nachlaufzeit nach letzter Bewegungserfassung kann durch
Drücken der Tasten auf 1 min., 5 min., 30 min. bis 2 h eingestellt werden.
Dämmerungseinstellung
Die gewünschte Ansprechschwelle kann von ca. 10 – 1000 Lux eingestellt werden.
Nachtbetrieb
Tageslichtbetrieb
Teach-IN. Dämmerungseinstellung über die Speichertaste/Teach-Modus. Bei den gewünsch-
ten Lichtverhältnissen, bei dem der Sensor zukünftig auf Bewegung reagieren soll, ist diese
Taste zu drücken. Der aktuelle Dämmerungswert wird gespeichert.
Sensorempflindlichkeit (nur HF 360 und Dual HF)
Bei Fehlschaltungen durch bewegende Objekte kann die Empfindlichkeit des Sensors mit der
Taste reduziert werden, um potentielle Schaltungsgründe auszublenden. Die Taste stellt
die normale Empfindlichkeit her.
Reset
Zurücksetzen aller Einstellungen auf die an dem Melder manuell eingestellten Werte bzw.
Werkseinstellungen.
Funktionsgarantie
Dieses STEINEL-Produkt ist mit größter Sorgfalt hergestellt, funktions- und sicherheitsgeprüft nach gelten-
den Vorschriften und anschließend einer Stichprobenkontrolle unterzogen. STEINEL übernimmt die Garantie
für einwandfreie Beschaffenheit und Funktion. Die Garantiefrist beträgt 36 Monate und beginnt mit dem
Tag des Verkaufs an den Verbraucher. Wir beseitigen Mängel, die auf Material- oder Fabrikationsfehlern
beruhen, die Garantieleistung erfolgt durch Instandsetzung oder Austausch mangelhafter Teile nach unse-
rer Wahl. Eine Garantieleistung entfällt für Schäden an Verschleißteilen sowie für Schäden und Mängel,
die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Wartung oder durch die Verwendung von Fremdteilen auftreten.
Weitergehende Folgeschäden an fremden Gegenständen sind ausgeschlossen. Die
Garantie wird nur gewährt, wenn das unzerlegte Gerät mit kurzer Fehlerbeschreibung,
Kassenbon oder Rechnung (Kaufdatum und Händlerstempel), gut verpackt, an die
zutreffende Servicestation eingesandt wird.

Principle
The optional remote control for the Presence Control PRO makes it easy to install larger-scale lighting
systems as it avoids the needs to set each presence detector prior to installation. The remote control can
be used for controlling any number of Presence Control detectors. Each valid press of a button is indicated
by the blue LED flashing on the sensor.
Functions
Reach setting (HF 360 and Dual HF only)
Reach can be set from a minimum of 1 m, 1/3, 2/3 to a maximum of 8 m by pressing these
buttons.
Time setting CH 1 - Stay 'ON' time for switching contact 1
The period of time you want the light to stay 'ON' for after last detecting movement can be set
from between 30 sec., 2 min., 5 min., 15 min. and 30 min. by pressing these buttons.
Setting the light to stay 'ON' for a time of your own choice. Each press of the button increments
the chosen time setting by 1 minute.
IQ mode. Stay 'ON' time is self-learning and adjusts dynamically to user behaviour.
The optimum time is determined by means of a learning algorithm. The shortest time is 2 min.,
the longest time 20 min.
Test mode. The test mode has the purpose of checking for proper working order as well as
testing the detection zone. The presence detector switches 'ON' for approx. 8 sec. regardless of
brightness and movement. The test mode has priority over all other settings. All user-selected
potentiometer settings apply in normal mode. The test mode ends automatically after 10 min.
Time setting CH 2 - Stay 'ON' time for switching contact 2 (HVAC)
The period of time you want the light to stay 'ON' for (stay 'ON' time) after last detecting move-
ment can be set from between 1 min., 5 min., 30 min. and 2 h by pressing these buttons.
Twilight setting
The chosen response threshold can be varied from approx. 10 – 1000 lux.
Night-time mode
Daylight mode
Teach-IN. Twilight setting at the memory button/Teach mode. This button must be pressed at
the level of light at which you want the sensor to respond to movement from now on. The cur-
rent twilight value is saved.
Sensor sensitivity (HF 360 and Dual HF only)
If moving objects cause the light to come 'ON' when you do not want it to, sensor sensitivity can
be reduced by pressing the button to ignore potential reasons for activation. The button
restores normal sensitivity.
Reset
Resets all settings to the values selected on the detector manually or to the factory settings.
Functional
This STEINEL product has been manufactured with the greatest care, tested for proper operation and safety
in accordance with applicable regulations and then subjected to random sample inspection. STEINEL guar-
antees that it is in perfect condition and proper working order. The warranty period is 36 months, starting
on the date of sale to the consumer. We will remedy defects caused by material flaws or manufacturing
faults. The warranty will be met by repair or replacement at our own discretion. The warranty does not cover
damage to wear parts or damage and defects caused by improper treatment, maintenance or the use of
non-genuine parts. Further consequential damage to other objects is excluded. Claims
under the warranty will only be accepted if the unit is sent fully assembled and well-
packed with a brief description of the fault, a receipt or invoice (date of purchase and
dealer's stamp) to the appropriate Service Centre.
