3 Description
This 2-bit non-inverting bus transceiver uses two
separate congurable power-supplyrails.The Aports
aredesigned to trackVCCA and acceptsany supply
voltage from1.2 V to 3.6V. The B portsare designed
to trackVCCB and acceptsany supplyvoltage from
1.2Vto 3.6 V.Thisallows foruniversallow-voltage
bidirectional translation and level-shifting between
any of the1.2-V, 1.5-V, 1.8-V, 2.5-V, and 3.3-V
voltage nodes.
TheSN74AVC2T45 is designedfor asynchronous
communication between two databuses. Thelogic
levelsof thedirection-control(DIRpin) inputactivate
either theB-port outputs or theA-port outputs. The
device transmits datafrom the Abus to the Bbus
when the B-portoutputs are activatedand from the B
bus to the A bus when the A-port outputs are
activated. The input circuitryon both A and Bports
always is active and must have a logic HIGH or LOW
level applied to preventexcessleakage current on
the internalCMOS structure.
