• Use the IR-200BC or IR-310BC Battery Charger when recharging.
• Use only with the specified equipment.
• Do not drop nor give a shock.
• If battery leakage gets in one's eyes, wash it away with clean water and consult a

WARNING Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if
mishandled, could result in death or serious personal
injury.
• Stop charging if the battery are not fully charged within 3 hours.
• The temperature of battery sometimes rises high just after use. When removing
from the unit, switch off the unit's power and let the battery cool down to an ambient
temperature.
• Charge when using first after purchase or when using after left unused for a long
period of time.
• Battery operating duration may be short due to its self-discharge when left unused
for a long period of time even after fully charged.
• Using at room temperature (20±5°C or 68±9°F) is recommended. Using at 10°C
(50°F) or below will extremely reduce the battery operating duration.
• Once overdischarged, its usable capacity could not restore even after charge.
So, charging for about 5 minutes every 6 months is advisable when leaving it
unused for a long period of time.
• Do not recharge fully-charged battery. Doing so deteriorates its performance.
•
When not in use, take it out of the unit, and store in locations free from moisture and
between –20°C and 30°C (–4°F and 86°F).
• Do not store in a fully charged state. Discharging as fully as possible before storage
is recommended. (Note that doing this will not lead to overdischarge of the battery.)
