TheVaddioRFRemoteCommanderprovidesbasiccameraandconferencefunctionality–

pan,tilt,zoom,presets,volumecontrol,andmuting,asapplicable.Youcanalsousethe

remotetogetthecamera'sIPaddress.Thisremoteisaradio-frequencydevice,andisnot

compatiblewithproductsthatuseIR(infrared)remotes.

BeforeyoucanusetheRFremote,youwillneedto:

Installthebatteries

n

Pairtheremotewiththecamera

InstallingtheBatteries

TheremoteusestwoAAAbatteries.

1.Removethecoverfromthebackoftheremote.Youmayneedtopressdownonthe

upperedgewhileslidingitoff.

2.Installthebatteriesasshowninthediagraminthebatteryopening.

3.Slideandsnapthecoverbackintoplace.

PairingtheRemotetotheCamera

Thecameradoesnotrecognizeorrespondtotheremoteuntiltheyarepaired.Dothisafterthecamerais

turnedonanditsstatuslightiswhite.

Topairtheremoteusingthecamera’sIPbutton:

1.Pressandholdthecamera’sIPbuttonuntilthestatuslightblinkscyan.

2.Whilethecamera’sstatuslightblinkscyan,pressthepairingbuttonontheremote.Thecamera's

statuslightchangestosteadywhitewhentheremoteispaired.Youmayneedtopresstheremote's

pairingbuttonmorethanonce.

3.Ifthestatuslightchangescolorandkeepsblinking,thepairingwasnotsuccessful.Rebootthe

cameraandgobacktostep1.Iftheproblempersists,contactVaddioTechnicalSupport.

Topairtheremoteusingthecamera’sadministrativewebinterface:

1.OnthePairingpageofthewebinterface,selectPairRemote.

2.Whenthecamera'sstatuslightblinkscyan,pressandholdthepairingbuttonontheremoteuntilthe

statuslightchangestosteadywhite.
