Power inverter

Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save it for future reference.

Voltage selection
1. Select theproper voltage. Check theproduct’s
rating plate or count thenumber of batteries
for calculation first. Each battery has a1.5 V
value (2 batteries = 3 V, 4 batteries = 6 V,
8 batteries = 12 V).
2. Set theadaptor’s selector switch to theproper
voltage.
Checking battery polarity
1. Select theproper adaptor tip. Check thepolarity
of theproduct to be run off thepolarity inverter.
Connect theadaptor tip so that the (+) symbol
lines up with “TIP” on thepower inverter cord
which corresponds to thepower inverter’s
positive centre conductor pin.
Positive centre conductor pin symbol:
Fuse replacement
Twist theplastic tip on thecigarette lighter plug
anticlockwise and check thefuse. If thefuse has
blown or if you are uncertain, replace thefuse.
Only replace with 3 Arated fuses.

Safety guidelines
1. Always check for correct voltage selection
and polarity since any driven device will
be susceptible to damage by constant
overvoltage and/or reversed polarity.
2. Do not use thepower inverter for devices that
use currents exceeding 1.5 A.
3. Never try to dismantle theadaptor.
4. Pull theplug out of thecigarette lighter socket
when thepower inverter is not in use.
Disposal
Theproduct should be disposed of in accordance
with local regulations. If you are unsure how to
proceed, contact your local council.
Note: Selecting anincorrect polarity setting may
cause permanent damage to theproduct being
connected.
2. Connect theadaptor tip to thedevice to
be powered.
3. Connect thepower plug to your car’s cigarette
lighter socket. Thegreen LED should then
come on. If no light is seen, refer to theFuse
replacement section below.
4. Turn theload device on. If thedevice does not
power on, turn off thepower immediately and
check thepolarity as in shown in steps 1–3
above.
