that youare trying todry.Use thattoguide your"Whatto Dry"selection.Then determinehowyou wantthedryerto
dry them and select theappropriate "How toDry"selection. Modifiersarepreset for the itemsbeingdried, but can
be changedifdesired.
Togetthe mostenergysavings andenhanced fabriccarefromyour dryer,usethe Automaticcycles.These cycles
measure thedryingair temperature andmoisture levelstoturn thedryeroff once the loadreachestheselected
dryness level.Dryerperformance andresultsmay varywithservice voltage lessthan 240.

Button Descriptions
1. POWER/CANCEL
Touchtoturn thedryeron andoff.Touch tostop/cancel acycleatany time.
2.WHATTODRY/HOW TODRY
Once a“Whatto Dry”isselected, the dryerautomatically selectsthe
recommended or last-used “Howto Dry”option,as well asthe recommended/
last-used modifiers.Boththe “HowtoDry”andmodifierscan bechangedif
desired.See the online“Cycle Guide” for details.
3. START/PAUSE
Touch and hold until LED countsdown “3-2-1” andthe dryer starts; then letgo
to startacycle, ortouch oncewhilea cycleisin processtopause it.
4. MODIFIERS
Use toselectavailable modifiersfor yourdryer. Not allcyclesand optionsare
availableon all models.See the onlineCycle Guidefor details.
Temp
Whenusing TimedDry/Quick Cycle, youmay select adry temperature based
onthe typeof load you aredrying. Use thewarmest setting thatis safe for the
garments in theload. Follow garment label instructions.
Not allfeatures,cycles, andoptions are available on all models.Appearance may vary.
NOTE: The control panelfeatures a sensitive surface that respondsto a light touch of yourfinger.To ensure yourselections are registered,touch the control
panel withyourfinger tip, notyour fingernail.When selecting a settingor option,simplytouch itsname.
NOTE: Automatic Cycleswillgive you upto 4 temperaturesto adjust,
depending on the“What toDry”or “Howto Dry”selectionsthathave been
made.
Dryness
Youmay adjustthe Dryness onAutomatic Cycles (exceptfor the Sanitize
cycle), ifdesired.
NOTE: Dryness is forusewithAutomatic Cycles only.
More Time/Less Time
TouchMoreTime or LessTime with Timed Dry/QuickDryCycles toincrease
ordecrease the lengthof the cycle.
5. OPTIONS
Use toselectavailable optionsforyour dryer.Not allcyclesand optionsare
available onallmodels.
Wrinkle Shield™Option
If you willbe unabletoremove a loadimmediately, touchWrinkle Shield™ to
add upto150 minutesofperiodic tumbling tohelp reducewrinkling.You may
select the “+ Steam”setting (on somemodels only) to add a short steam
cycle after60minutes tohelp smoothoutwrinkles.
NOTE:If you open the dryerdoor priortotheend oftheWrinkle Shield
option, the dryerwill pause.
Steam Refresh(steam models only)
This cycleisbest forreducing wrinkles and odorsfrom dry items. Cycletime
will increase,dependingon numberofitems. Thisisan independentcycle
that cannotbe combined withanyother cycle.
Cycle Signal
Usethis to turnthe signalindicating the end of a drying cycle to low,medium,
high, oroff. The volume youselect here will also be appliedto the DampDry
Signal.
NOTE: You mayalso turn off the tones that sound whena feature, setting,or
option istouched. Touch andholdCycle Signalforabout3secondsto turn
soundsto low, medium, high, or off.
Damp DrySignal
Touch to select the Damp Dry Signalon or off. Whenselected, a series of
beeps willsound whenthe load is damp, butnot completely dry.This will
allow youtotake clothesoutof the loadthatdo notneed to drycompletely.
TheDamp Dry Signalis selected asa defaultforthe BulkyItemscycles, asa
reminderto manually repositionbulky loads midwaythrough the cycle.This
option isnotavailable forallcycles.Seethe online “CycleGuidefor details.
Reduce Static(on some models)
Touchtoadd thisoptionto selected AutomaticCycles. Thedryerwill
automatically tumble, pause,and introduce a small amount of moistureinto
theload to helpreduce static. This option adds approximately 3 minutes to
the totalcycletime
Control Lock
Use thisoptionto lockthe controlsofthedryerandavoidan accidental
change in cycleoptions orpreferencesduring adrying cycle. Touch and hold
Control LockorDamp DrySignal(depending on themodel) for3seconds to
lock orunlockthe controlsof the dryer. Duringthistime, theLED Displaywill
count down“3-2-1.”Once thecontrolsare locked,theLED Displaywilldisplay
“Loc.”
NOTE: The ControlLock function maybe enabled when recoveringfrom a
power failure.To unlock thecontrol,touch and holdControl LockorDamp Dry
Signal (depending on themodel) for at least 3 seconds.
EcoBoost™ Option
TheEcoBoost™ option willdefault on only for the Regular/Normalcycle and
is onlyavailableon thatcycle.Thisoptionallowsyou toincreaseyour energy
savingsby using aslightly lower heat level. The EcoBoost™option will
increase dryingtimes byapproximately40minutes, whichwillbe reflectedon
theLED display. If optimal time is desired, touch ECOBOOSTto turn off this
option.
6.LED DISPLAY
When youselecta cycle,its defaultsettingswilllight upandthe estimated
timeremaining (for AutomaticCycles)willvary depending on “What to Dry”
and “HowtoDry” selectionsoractual timeremaining forTimed Drycycles(for
Manual Cycles)willbe displayed.
CYCLE STATUS
TheCycleStatusindicators show the progress ofa cycle. Not allindicators are
available onallmodels.
Sensing
The Sensing indicatorwill lightperiodicallyduring SensorCyclestoindicate thatthe
moisture sensoronthe dryerisoperating. Thisindicatorwill notlightduring Timed
Cycles oroptionssuch asWrinkle Shield.
Wet
The loadisstillwetand/orthe cyclejuststarted.
Damp
This indicatorshowsthat theload ispartiallydried anditemsthat youmaywish to
hang uporiron whilestilldamp mayberemoved.
Cool Down
The dryerhasfinished dryingwithheat andisnow tumblingthe load withoutheatto
cool itdown and reduce wrinkling.
Check Vent
TheCheck Ventindicator is afeatureavailableforAutomatic Cycles only.This
indicator willshowthe statusofairflow through thedryer and the dryer vent system for
thedryer’s life. During thesensing phase atthe beginning ofthe cycle,the CheckVent
lightwillcome onif a blocked vent or lowairflow issue is detected.This lightwill stay
on fortheentire cycle.Shouldthe CheckVent lightilluminate,refer totheonline
“Troubleshooting” section forpotentialsolutions totheissue.
The lightwillbe clearedupon completion ofthecycle,touchingPower, or openingthe
door.TheCheck Vent light willcontinue to illuminateduringthe cycleunlessthe root
cause isresolved.
NOTE: The dryer will continue to operate even while theindicator islit,but poor
airflow can impact dry timesand overall performance. See “Check Your VentSystem
forGood Airflow” inthe Owner’s Manual.
NOTE: If there areother error issuesduring a cycle, the CheckVent indicator willnot
light up.Seethe onlineTroubleshooting” section.
End
Thiswillindicate thatthe selected cyclehas ended andthe load may be removed from
the dryer. If WrinkleShieldhas been selected,the dryer maycontinue to tumblethe
load, even ifEnd” isdisplayed.
Control Lock
Thiswillilluminate oncethe controls are locked.
