How to Use and Enjoy Your Coleman®
r Inflates AND deflates.
r Adaptor works with Coleman® Double Lock Valve as well as ™
other airbed valves on the market.
r Operates on four D-cell batteries.
r Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most
suitable for the intended use.
r Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
r Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to
polarity (+ and – ).
r Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for
an extended period of time.
r Remove used batteries promptly.

Warnings
r Follow the instructions carefully on articles to be inflated, never exceed
recommended pressure. Bursting items can cause serious injury.
r There are no user serviceable parts.
r Do not use under wet conditions. Keep away from water.
r Never look into or point any opening toward your eyes while pump
is operating.
r Do not attempt to put any objects into the inflation or deflation port at
any time.
r Never leave pump unattended while in use.
r Never allow sand, paper, debris or small articles to be sucked into pump
while operating.
r Let pump cool before storing the pump inside the box after use.
CAUTION: Do not block the air portals during operation, this could
damage the motor.

4D (6V) Battery Pack

To Install Or Replace Batteries
Your new pump operates on 4 “D” cell batteries. For longest life, use
alkaline batteries.
1. With pump off, turn upside down and press two release tabs to
remove 4D battery pack. (Fig. 1)
2. Press snap feature to open the 4D battery pack top cover. (Fig. 2)
3. Install 4 batteries in the correct orientation as shown on the battery
housing. Always be careful that all 4 batteries are installed correctly.

4. Close top cover and install 4D battery pack properly into the pump.

Note: For optimum performance, alkaline
batteries are recommended.
1. To begin ination, open external
cap and pull rmly on the
lanyard to extend out. This will
open internal yellow seal.
4. Fully remove pump and close
external cap. Valve should
appear depressed into itself.
Inflating Coleman® Double Lock™ Valve
Deflation
2. Attach adapter nozzle to
ination end of pump. Insert
pump and turn on.
Note: The pump may look
different from yours. It is for
illustration purposes only.
3. When fully inated, seal valve
by pushing in with pump nozzle.
This will seal the internal yellow
stopper and keep air from
escaping while closing cap.
Gently twist adapter sleeve to
right while backing pump out
of valve.
1. Remove adapter nozzle from
ination end and attach to
deation side of pump. Repeat
same steps as ination. This will
draw the air out quickly.
Other Valves
Works with standard wide opening and boston style valves.
