Preparations for installation in aØ 68 mm hole in asuspended ceiling
1. Ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes behind theceiling panel Warning:
where you intend to drill themountinghole.
Installation in aØ 80mm backbox
1. Carry out theinstructions in the Connection
sectionabove.
2. Push thelight fitting up into thebackbox.
3. Screw thelight fitting to thebackbox.
4. Press and snap theaccent ring (1) intoplace.

adimmer designed for electronic
transformers or anLED dimmer.
Safety instructions
• This product must only be installed by aqualified electrician.
• Before beginning any electrical installation always disconnect thepower to thecircuit you
are working on, either by turning off themain circuit breaker or by removing thefuse from
theconsumerunit.
• Ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes behind theceiling panel where you
intend to drill themountinghole.
• Theproduct is intended for flush fitting ceiling installation.
• Thelight fitting must not be covered with any heat insulating material.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor useonly.
• Do not touch thelight fitting when it is on or before it has cooled adequately after being shutoff.
• Avoid looking directly into thelight source when it ison.
• The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or
his service agent or a similar qualified person. Caution to the risk of electric shock during
installation or maintenance.
Product description
Installation
Thelight fitting must not be covered with any heat insulating material.
Important: TheIP rating of theback of thelight fitting is IP20 whereas thefront of thelight
fitting is rated as IP44.
2. Make ahole in theceiling panel with a68 mm diam
holesaw.
Note: Thedistance between theceiling panel and any
material present behind it must be at least 42mm in order to
accommodate thelamp housing.
Preparations for installation in aØ 80mm backbox
Make sure that aØ 80 mm back box has been installed where
thelight fitting is to be placed.
Connection
Warning: This product must only be installed by aqualified electrician.
Thelight bulb is dimmable. Thecorrect type of dimmer should be used for best results.
Thelight fitting can be dimmed using anLED dimmer or adimmer designed for electronic
transformers.
1. Disconnect thepower to thecircuit you are working
on, either by turning off themain circuit breaker or
by removing thefuse from theconsumerunit.
2. Undo thetwo screws on theback of
thelight fitting and remove thecover
from over theterminalblock.
3. Connect apower supply cable
to theterminalblock.
• LED downlight for recessed installation.
• Can be installed in aØ 68 mm mounting hole in
aceiling or in aØ 80 mm backbox.
• Dimmablebulb
• Tiltable lampbody.
4. There are 4 screw terminals,
2 marked N and 2 marked L.
Theextra terminals can be
used to connect additional
light fittings to thesame power
supply cable if desired.
5. Refit thecover and tighten thescrews. Thecover also acts as astrain
relief for thepower supplycable.
Installation in aØ 68mm
hole in asuspended ceiling
1. Carry out theinstructions in
the sectionabove.Connection
2. Push thelight fitting up into
thehole and fix it using
thespring clips (2).
3. Push thehousing into thehole
until theflange (3) is flat against
theceiling.
4. Press and snap theaccent
ring(1) intoplace.
After completed installation
Turn on themains. Thelight is now ready foruse.
Instructions foruse
• Do not touch thelight fitting when it is on or before it has cooled adequately after Warning:
being switchedoff.
• Tilt thelamp by pushing theedge of theglass diffuser to thedesiredangle.
Care and maintenance
• Turn thelamp off and let itcool.
• Clean theproduct using alightly moistenedcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Make sure that thelight fitting is dry before turning iton.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with general
householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU. Inorder to prevent
any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can
be disposed of in aresponsible manner. Whenrecycling your product, take
it to your local collection facility or contact theplace of purchase. Theywill
ensure that theproduct is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
