Safety Instructions
• If the mains lead is damaged it must only be replaced by a qualied technician.
• Never expose the tool to rain or moisture.
• Never point the heat gun towards people or animals.
• Never block the nozzle by covering it or holding it too close to the object
being heated.
• Dangerous and poisonous gases can be produced when warming i.e. paint or
varnish. Provide for good ventilation.
Warning – fire risk
The tool can become a re risk if used improperly. Please take the following into
consideration:
• Be careful when using the tool in the vicinity of inammable materials.
• Never focus the heat gun on the same area for extended periods.
• Never use the tool in the proximity of explosive surroundings.
• Heat can be spread to inammable materials which not within sight.
• Place the tool in a standing position after use and let it cool sufciently before
putting it away for storage.
• Never leave the heat gun unattended when it is on.
• Never use the heat gun for drying clothes or as a hair dryer.
• Overheating increases the risk for re and explosions.
