INSTALLATION DIAGRAM:

Installing the Camera

NOTE: Test the camera for funconality prior to nalizing the installaon.

1. Remove the rear panel between the Mazda emblem and license plate using a panel removal tool.

2. Drill a 5/8” size hole in the locaon.

3. Fish the camera cable through the drilled hole into the trunk area.

4. Remove the factory radio to gain access to the connectors.

5. Route the camera cable towards the radio and mke the power and video connecons. Tap the red wire from the camera

cable (coming out of the yellow RCA) to the red wire of the RVCMZ-72 harness. The red wire (near the camera) is NOT used.

Insulate it to prevent it from shorng. Tap the ground wire (black) near the camera to a solid chassis ground. If for some

reason video noise is present, the RVCMZ-72 provides a ground wire which can then be used to ground the camera instead of

using chassis ground. See diagram for reference.
