1.0 Introduction

1.1 Functions and features
The wireless EM65X0 e-Domotica switch, allows you to turn on and turn off your
illumination and other electrical devices by using a remote control. In combination with
the Eminent e-Centre, you can save a lot on your electricity account and reduce the
amount of stand-by consumption. You will not only save money, but you will also
protect the environment by using the EM65X0. The switch can be connected to any
free wall outlet, and therefore can be used throughout your entire house. The switch
can also act as a repeater, by picking up the wireless signal of other e-Domotica
devices and broadcast this signal forward. This way, you can make sure your entire
house is provided with the comfort the EM65X0 delivers!

1.2 Packing contents
The following parts need to be present:
• EM65X0 wireless switch
• User manual
2.0 Using the switch
Only a few short and simple steps are necessary in order to connect and assign the
EM65X0 to the e-Centre and let the functioning of the EM65X0 begin. Use the
following procedure to connect the switch.
2.1 Connecting to a wall outlet
1. Take the switch out of the packaging.
2. Insert the switch into a wall outlet.
3. Insert the plug of the device you want to switch (For example: a lamp) into the
socket of the EM65X0.
4. If the device has its own on/off switch, you have to set this switch to the ‘ON’
position.
5. Test whether the device works by pressing the button on the switch. The LED on
the switch will be lit. The connected device will also be turned on.
2.2 Assigning the switch to the Eminent e-Centre
There are two situations possible when assigning the switch to the Eminent e-Centre.
1. You assign the switch to the Eminent e-Centre during the installation process of
the e-Centre itself. The installation wizard of the e-Centre will move along the 9
steps during the installation process of the e-Centre itself, meaning you can add
all your e-Domotica devices through the e-Centre’s own website “http://e-Centre”.
For this installation you have to follow the steps shown on screen.
2. You can add your switch to the already installed e-Centre. This is described in
chapter ‘3.3. Adding the switch to the already installed e-Centre’.
2.3 Adding the switch to the already installed e-Centre
1. Insert the new switch into a wall outlet near the e-Centre (5 meters maximum).
When assigning the switch, a shorter distance is required compared to repeating, or
being in service.
2. Make sure your computer is completely started.
3. Open your computer’s web browser.
