NTV-KIT 167
Overview
The GVIF- Kit allows the user to add up to 3 video inputs and a backup camera input to the RR
factory media screen in select Range Rover (LR3/HSE) vehicles. This kit has a dedicated rear
view camera input, 3 composite (RCA) audio/video inputs, an RGB input and an AV output with
AV switching.

Installaon
THIS INTERFACE INSTALLS AT THE NAV DRIVE UNDER THE SEAT AT THE SCREEN , NOT !
1. Locate the factory NAV drive under the driver/passenger seat.
2. Gather the provided from the GVIF-RR kit. Connect the following ‘Power/CAN Harness’
wires to the car:
Note: CAN connecon is not supported at this me. You must connect the GRAY wire
to a reverse lamp for reverse acvaon!
3. Disconnect the factory LVDS cable from the NAV drive, this is oen a black or blue
connector.
4. Connect the provided LVDS male side (labeled ‘LRIN’) of the
video cable to the factory NAV drive. Be certain you’re inserng
this connector properly, it is keyed but it may sll be ght!
5. Connect the free end (removed in step 3) of the factory video cable to the female side of
the provided LVDS video cable (labeled ‘LROUT’).
6. Connect the white end of the LVDS video cable to the interface at the port labeled ‘LVDS
IN/OUT’ Note: If aer installaon you receive a ‘NAV NOT AVAILABLE’ message, the .
LVDS cables may not be seated fully.
7. Connect the AV Input cable to the port on the GVIF- interface labeled RR ‘AV IN/OUT’. If
you’re only connecng a reverse camera (and no other
inputs), the signal input from the camera must connect
to the RCA labeled . Refer to the dip-‘REAR-C’
switch sengs chart to skip/enable AV sources
upon toggle switch presses (oponal. Page 2 ).
8. Adjust dip switches on the GVIF-RR interface properly, refer to the chart on page 2 for
qualicaons.
9. Connect the white plug from the to the port on the GVIF-‘Power/CAN Harness’ RR
interface labeled ‘Power/CAN/RGB’.
10. Mount the interface down where it will not interfere with seat movement or passengers
feet.
