Überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass der Zündschlüssel
auf AUS/ steht. Achten Sie bei schlüssellosen “ OFF”
Systemen darauf, dass die Zündung vollständig
ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie die Starthilfe-Box an-
schließen.
Die Kontrollleuchte
Die Kontrollleuchte (6) leuchtet unter den folgenden
Bedingungen ROT:
Falsche Polarität,
Batteriespannung unter 3 Volt.
Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt in der Vorglühfunktion ROT
und GRÜN.
In der manuellen Boosterfunktion leuchtet die Kontroll-
leuchte GRÜN.
Betrieb Standardverfahren –
In den meisten Fällen liefert die Fahrzeugbatterie noch
ausreichend Strom, um die Starthilfe-Box zu laden.
Gehen Sie zum Starten des Fahrzeuges vor wie folgt:
1. Schließen Sie die Starthilfeklemmen (1) an die
Batteriepole an. Bitte achten Sie dabei auf eine
korrekte Polarität. Die Lade standsanzeige (7) zeigt zu
die Restspannung der Fahrzeugbatterie an.
2. Drücken Sie ON/OFF (4), die Starthilfe-Box lädt sich
jetzt an der Batterie auf. Das nimmt für gewöhnlich
etwa 0 Sekunden in Anspruch. 15
3. Die Lade standsanzeige (7) zeigt die Spannung zu
der Starthilfe-Box während des Ladevorganges an.

Attention: In the manual booster mode the re-
verse polarity protection and the short circuit
protection are not active Therefore, make .
sure the polarity is correct and the electrical
protection is correct to avoid arching!
3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (4) until the
control LED (6) lights up green.
4. When the control LED ligh up green continuous-ts
ly, you have 30 seconds for a starting attempt.
5. Turn on the engine.
When the engine is running turn on a powerful
consumer, e.g. the heated rear window to com-
pensate the voltage peak caused by disconnect-
ing the box. Turn o the box with the button (4)
and rst disconnect the black negative cable and
then the red positive cable. Turn o the consumer
and operate the vehicle long enough to build a
charge in the battery.
Glow M ode
In cold weather, the glow plugs in most diesel vehicles
will be preheated electrically. This is indicated by the
GLOW indicator on dashboard. The process needs a
current of 40 Amp and takes about seconds. –60 4 –6
1. In this case, after the jump starter is fully recharged
and connected, press the GLOW button (5).
2. Start the engine after preheating.
