De ELRO AG40PP11 PIR-bewegingssensor is ontwikkeld voor gebruik i.c.m. het
ELRO AG4000 Thuis Alarmsysteem.
PIR Diervriendelijke Sensor
PIR-sensoren zijn ontwikkeld om beweging te detecteren. Deze sensor bevat echter ook een
diervriendelijke functionaliteit. Dit wil zeggen dat wanneer uw huisdier beweegt in het bereik van
de sensor, er geen alarm veroorzaakt wordt.
Installatie van uw PIR-bewegingssensor
Als eerste moet de batterij in de sensor geplaatst worden. Dit
doet u door de schroef aan de onderzijde van de sensor los te
schroeven zodat u de montageplaat kunt verwijderen.
Nadat u deze montageplaat heeft verwijderd plaatst u de
meegeleverde CR123A 3V lithium batterij in de sensor op de
manier die in de afbeelding aangegeven wordt. Onder normale
omstandigheden is de levensduur van de meegeleverde batterij
zo’n 3 jaar. Nadat u de batterij heeft geplaatst zal de sensor
gedurende 2-3 minuten nodig hebben om op te warmen.
Tijdens het opwarmen zal de led achter de lens knipperen.
Testmodus
Als de led stopt met knipperen is de PIR opgewarmd. U kunt
vervolgens de sensor in de testmodus zetten door de kleine
zwarte testknop gedurende 2 seconden ingedrukt te houden.
Als de sensor nu beweging detecteert dan zal ter indicatie de
rode led een halve seconde oplichten. Buiten de testmodus
knippert de rode led niet bij beweging. De testmodus biedt u
de mogelijkheid om de juiste montage locatie te bepalen.
Als de sensor gekoppeld is aan het alarmpaneel dan hoort u na
elke beweging een signaal. Nadat er 3 minuten geen beweging
meer wordt waargenomen verlaat de sensor automatisch de
testmodus.
Opmerking:
1. In de testmodus wordt er continu een signaal naar het alarmpaneel gezonden, na detectie
hoort u een signaal.
2. Normaal (niet in de testmodus) gaat de sensor na detectie 2 minuten in rust om de batterij
te sparen.
3. Als de batterij bijna leeg is dan zal de led elke seconde knipperen.

Diervriendelijkheid
Deze diervriendelijke bewegingssensor is zo uitgevoerd dat deze niet zal reageren als er kleine
dieren binnen het bereik van de sensor bewegen. Het is echter alleen van toepassing wanneer het
dier minder dan 60cm hoog is en minder dan 90cm lang. In de tekening hieronder ziet u hoe het
werkt.
Beide (onzichtbare) detectiestralen moeten geactiveerd worden om een alarm te veroorzaken.
Montage van de PIR PET bewegingssensor
Probeer waar mogelijk de sensor in een hoek van een kamer te plaatsen, zodat het logische pad
van een indringer het detectiegebied van de sensor doorkruist. PIR-sensors zijn beter in het
detecteren van een beweging die het detectiegebied doorkruist zie 1, dan het detecteren van
beweging die direct op de sensor afkomt zie 2.
Het detectiegebied bij een montagehoogte van 2-2,25m en een omgevingstemperatuur niet hoger
dan 28°C heeft een hoek van 90° en een lengte van 12 meter.
